2026 Lotus Emeya Price Drop across the range, up to RM96,000

[PCauto] Lotus Cars Malaysia has recently launched the 2026 Emeya, introducing five new variants along with price adjustments. The base Emeya 600 now starts at RM459,000—a reduction of RM96,000 compared with its 2025 launch price—while the top-of-the-line Emeya 900 Sport Carbon is priced at RM729,000, with deliveries scheduled to begin in September 2025.
A New “600/900” Naming System for Different Power Specifications
The 600 series features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, producing 603 hp and 710 N·m of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.15 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 250 km/h. It is equipped with a 102 kWh battery pack, providing a WLTP-rated range of 610 km.
The 900 series boosts performance to 905 hp and 985 N·m of torque, paired with a dedicated two-speed transmission. This allows a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 2.78 seconds, with a top speed of 256 km/h and a WLTP range of 485 km. All Emeya variants come standard with an 800V high-voltage architecture, supporting 420 kW ultra-fast charging (10–80% in 15 minutes) and 22 kW AC charging.
Emeya 600 vs. 900: Configuration Differences
The base Emeya 600 comes equipped with an active air suspension (CDC continuous damping control), 20-inch wheels, a KEF 15-speaker audio system, and a 29-inch HUD (head-up display). The Emeya 600 GT SE adds 21-inch wheels, a six-piston brake system, and a smart glass sunroof. The sport-oriented 600 Sport SE further includes an active rear-wheel steering system and an aerodynamic package featuring an active rear wing and diffuser.
The 900 Sport series, building on its upgraded powertrain, comes standard with a dynamic handling package. Its exclusive two-speed transmission optimizes efficiency at high speeds, while active rear-wheel steering (standard on all 900 models and the 600 Sport SE) enhances agility and cornering performance.
The top-tier 900 Sport Carbon variant is equipped with a full carbon-fiber body kit and ventilated massage seats. The carbon-fiber components cover 12 parts, including the hood and front and rear bumpers, achieving weight reduction and aerodynamic optimization. All Emeya models come standard with an intelligent air suspension offering an 80 mm ride height adjustment, balancing track performance with everyday drivability.
Product Line Restructuring Significantly Lowers Entry Threshold
- Emeya 600: RM459,000 (previously RM555,000)
- Emeya 900 Sport: RM699,000 (RM78,000 lower than the Emeya R)
All prices include Malaysia sales tax. Customers can place orders through Lotus showrooms in Kuala Lumpur (Glenmarie), Pavilion Damansara Heights, and Penang. Lotus Malaysia stated that this pricing adjustment responds to the competitive landscape of the Southeast Asian luxury EV market while maintaining the brand’s performance DNA.
This pricing strategy positions the Emeya 600 directly against the BMW i5 eDrive40 (priced at RM398,000), while the 900 series competes with the Porsche Taycan Turbo (starting at RM725,000). With delivery times now shortened to 4–6 weeks, Lotus is expected to strengthen its share in the Southeast Asian high-performance EV market.
